Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our daily inventory, including various building materials, fasteners, cleaning products, tapes, and more. The role involves handling material tickets, assisting with CNC machine operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials within our facility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory of plywood, building materials, fasteners, cleaning products, tapes, etc.
• Assist with material tickets and fill out material tickets from the CNC machine on a daily basis.
• Properly label and store materials after job completion.
• Create and maintain a weekly inventory sheet to be sent to the purchasing team.
• Aid in the unloading of materials and maintain organization within the inventory storage area.
• Assist in conducting inventory audits every six months.
• Support shop maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist with local van runs and deliveries when required.
• Coordinate with local vendors such as Fastenal on a weekly basis.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Label stock materials with vendor part numbers for easy identification.
• Organize and store materials returned from shows or events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Role Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed.
