The Siebel Scholars program joined forces with MC² to produce a three-day thought leadership conference in downtown Chicago entitled “Social Media: What Could Possibly Go Wrong.” The mission of the conference was to bring together a collective of bright minds to discuss the power and societal impact of social media.
The attendees were immersed in a world of social media over the duration of the event. Attendees were surrounded by messaging and imagery that were a constant reminder of the ways social media impacts their thinking and overtly stimulates them
The conference kicked off at The University of Chicago with several panel discussions on various social media challenges. Questions were provided by the audience as esteemed panelists debated the future of social media.
After a full day of stimulating conversations, a host of immersive experiences were planned for attendees. The show stopper? A Maroon 5 concert that rocked the house at the Field Museum!
In alignment with the conference theme, social media activations were positioned throughout the venue for attendees to enjoy. This included photo booths, a Twitter zone, and Instagrammable photo-ops to capture live moments.
Round tables and brainstorming sessions fostered an environment of thought-provoking discussion and intimate access to the conference founder, Thomas Siebel.
