Boston learned about hydrogen fuel cell power from Toyota’s Mirai display at the city’s HUBweek event
With a chromed Mirai perched atop a shipping container, guests took the Mirai Cross-Country Trek—an augmented reality experience.
As they navigated their virtual Mirai cross country, guests learned about the benefits of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
Finally, a 3D model of the Mirai “drove” on screen. Guests could physically walk around the virtual vehicle to see it from all angles.
Guests then tested their recall—winning prizes for accuracy. The A/R experience aided recall over traditional methods.
Guests were also given the experience of driving the Mirai on Boston streets.
