Chestnut Ridge, NY (July 13, 2012) – MC2 ("MC-squared"), a nationally recognized and award-winning exhibit and event marketing company, has received a 2012 Bronze E.X.C.I.T.E. Award in the category Best Use of Integrated Media for McAfee, an Intel Company, at RSA 2012.
The E.X.C.I.T.E. Awards, produced by EXPO Magazine, celebrate excellence and innovation in tradeshows and events. 2012 marked the award program’s inaugural year, with Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards to entries in each of 12 categories.

The Best Use of Integrated Media recognizes projects with the best use of various media and tactics used to enhance the face-to-face experience. MC2 worked with McAfee to not only make a highly technical process — Security Connected Reference Architecture — easy to understand, but also made it fun by using an integrated media approach to their exhibit at RSA 2012. The face-to-face experience was enhanced with the LEGO® "Security Connected village," built by world-famous LEGO artist, Adam Tucker, and an interactive game for attendees to guess the number of LEGO blocks used to build it and social media to promote and expand game participation beyond the trade show floor. Presentations focused on the Security Connected Architecture further educated attendees on the process, and wall-sized signage further drove home key messages. The campaign was also promoted online via McAfee’s blog and website.
