The company was also recognized with Honors in the same category for Biomet 3i Exhibit at AAOMS.
The GALAXY Awards, sponsored by MerComm, Inc., recognize companies that have achieved marketing excellence across a wide range of industry disciplines. The Awards Competition is judged by industry peers and is based on creativity, effectiveness, performance and success. Each entry is evaluated three separate times during the preliminary round and a minimum score must be achieved to qualify for an award. Only one Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Honors Award are given to the top third of the entries in each category classification.

Silver Galaxy Award for Design: Trade Show Booth Display VCE at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011
Through a sophisticated design and intricate lighting plan, MC² designed, fabricated and installed a custom exhibit that helped Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE) stand out on the CONEXPO/CON-AGG show floor, while demonstrating Volvo’s clean, European premium brand. The exhibit design included presentation areas for 19 pieces of equipment, 12 kiosks, a corporate theater, and two side-by-side double deck structures connected by a bridge, which housed the brand merchandise shop, a meeting room, and a hospitality space. MC² also produced and managed talent for the entertainment in the booth. To support VCE’s commitment to environmental care, eco-friendly elements were incorporated into the design including MC²’s proprietary rental program, Eco-flexTM. Overall, the exhibit program effectively communicated the new brand messaging and exceeded expectations of attendee booth participation and leads captured at the show.
Galaxy Award Honors for Design: Trade Show Booth Display for Biomet 3i Exhibit at AAOMS
MC² delivered a trade show booth experience that ensured a consistent look and feel across dental implant manufacturer Biomet 3i’s international trade show program. Built with lightweight, durable materials, the custom exhibit featured interactive kiosks, digital dentistry demonstration areas and animated media. Grey booth structures and plush sofas, touches of white, and soft lighting effects created a sophisticated, yet comfortable, atmosphere. The flexible, modular design allowed Biomet 3i to easily change product and service displays using different components and booth configurations ranging in size from 10’x20’ to 20’x100’. As a result, the company can customize the booth for all their trade shows without compromising on brand consistency.
