A Toast To Atlanta FastTrak |
We have officially wrapped up another successful year with our Atlanta FastTrak, November 11 – 13, 2008.
Hi everyone and welcome to another addition to my blog. The purpose of this space is to share my experiences and information I develop as we continue to sponsor the FastTrak program for Exhibitor Magazine. Atlanta FastTrak, November 2008
We have officially wrapped up another successful year with our Atlanta FastTrak, November 11-13, 2008. Check out Todd Simon's blog for more of the conference details.
Hotel/Meeting Planning:
The Atlanta FastTrak is held at the MC² Conference Learning Center in our office in Lithia Springs only 15 miles from downtown Atlanta. Having the conference in our facility is a great way for the attendees to meet our people and to see how we operate. We offered each attendee the opportunity to tour our facility by participating in a scavenger hunt in which they had to look for answers to eight questions about MC² offerings. At the end of the conference we did a random drawing for a grand prize of an iPod nano™ and five runner-up prizes for Starbucks® gift cards. Congratulations to our winners!
MC² Hosted Evening Event:
Every Tuesday night of the FastTrak conference, we host an evening event for our attendees. This year we decided to hold an event at a venue that has worked for us in the past and take advantage of the beautiful fall foliage the area had to offer. We took our attendees to "The Grape", a unique wine tasting venue that offers delicious and unique wines complemented by small-plate gourmet fare. We rented the outside patio and enjoyed a perfect fall evening with everyone who came.
To spice everything up, we invited Bill Clary who is a Master of Ceremonies, an up-close slight-of-hand magician, a comedian, and a world-class illusionist as well as a longtime friend of our very own Todd Simon. Bill was great with the guests and mystified us with some of his quick hand tricks and mind reading card games. He even taught us a trick to try at home! All in all it was a great evening with a great bunch of people.
